ALL TRAINING SUSPENDED - Letter from the Chairman

Dear member,

Firstly, we hope that you all are well and coping with the changes to your everyday life.

As you are aware, we are in unprecedented and difficult times and this is a further communication following the suspension of all water polo training.

You will shortly receive an email outlining some basic land based sessions that can all be completed in your own homes and without the need for specialist equipment.

As noted previously, if you have any questions or specific requests, then please do email either Craig ( or me.

As a club, we fully understand that these are challenging times financially as well as in other aspects for many of our members.

We are asking that please do not cancel your direct debit at this time. The club has some reserves to help cope with situations like this and we will be eating into these to support the club, however, in order to survive and to be able to pick up and get back to training as soon as possible once we are able, we need to maintain a level of income.

Therefore, all members will have their monthly payments reduced to £5 a month for the duration of the suspension. Please note that this will be done for all members by our Club treasurer, there is no action required from yourselves to reduce the payment.

We will advise once training is reinstated when the payment will revert to the current level.

Please do let me know if you have any questions arising from this and more importantly, please stay safe.

Best Regards,

John Sissons

CoB Water Polo Chairman
